I spent a weekday morning photographing a darling little girl Leah and her parents.  I love giving my clients a photoshoot experience where I can make a memorable impressions towards my littlest clients.  In her mommy’s words:  “Leah’s latest bedtime story of choice is Curious George’s Dinosaur Discovery where there is someone taking a picture of George near the end of the book.  Every time we get to that part Leah says, ‘Look! She’s taking a picture like Auntie Vero!'”  Double like, makes my heart melt into a puddle!

Time flies and this adorable baby girl is approaching another milestone, 8 months! I had the priviledge of photographing her parent’s wedding a few years ago and photographed baby C earlier this year to capture her growing milestones  (see post here).  I’ve said this again and again before, I feel so thankful to my clients who hire me to come back each year to photograph their precious family.  This is the best review anyone can ask for!  Grateful.

Dennis and Grace Hu celebrated their 5 year wedding anniversary with a photo session to capture a special turning point in their lives.  The couple is also expecting their first baby  so we combined their Maternity photosession as well.  What a wonderful anniversary present to be blessed with a birth of their son later this year.  Dennis has also worked with me in the past as my dedicated 2nd photographer at several of my weddings.  While I no longer photograph Maternity and Newborn sessions, I made an exception for this sweet couple.  Dennis was a wonderful addition to Team Vero and helped me tremendously when I first started out my business back several years ago.  Congratulations to you both and I look forward to meeting your Baby Boy Hu, very very soon!

I’m so impressed by the Lee Family’s styling skills.  Mama Ginger did a great job color coordinating her boys’ outfits, keeping the color-scheme in the same family yet infusing interest with patterns, prints and a pop of color.  The boys J and lil’ K did a great job interacting and cooperating for the camera.  J even did a fun dance for me and lil’ K was full of smiles.  A photographer couldn’t ask for better behaved subjects.  Thank you Ginger and Wilson for being the perfect family to photograph!

I photographed the Mun family this past Spring to kick off a first year series (6mo/9mo/12mo) and this photoshoot marks the last one for baby Alexandra!  In Korean tradition, babies turning one are celebrated with a birthday party and babies wear a “hanbok”, a traditional korean dress.  To capture her celebration, Alexandra’s parents wanted her to wear the hanbok for the last photoshoot to document her first year.  See her last photoshoots 9 months here and 6 months here.
