Paperless Post Inspiration // Jin and Jay Wedding
I had the pleasure of working with Paperless Post and their suite of gorgeous designs to bring you an inspiration board using Jin & Jay’s Ritz Carlton wedding in San Francisco. I took inspiration from Jin and Jay’s timeless and elegant wedding to give you an idea, from the floral arrangements to the dress and shoes, around the design of your wedding invitations.
The Radiant Swirls Suite
by Oscar de la Renta
is the perfect modern touch to a classic elegant affair. The simple gold and white design compliments a variety of color accents, but truly shines amongst a simple silver and white backdrop. The ideal touch of radiance for a timeless event. I paired this with Jin and Jay’s wedding because it is a more modern take on a classic design, which perfectly compliments Jin and Jay’s special day.
Invite the Design into your Florals
The florals in your wedding can speak so much to your personality and overall theme so take inspiration from your invitation design! The swirled design perfectly reflects the abundance of flower bouquets that can adorn the bouquets and venue. Rounded bouquets of a single color, such as white floral arrangements, would perfectly compliment and reflect Radiant Swirls. This minimalistic design also allows you to add your own special touches such as a dining table adorned with white flowers of varying sizes and crystal jeweled napkin rings, so that one accent doesn’t overwhelm the other.
Elevate Simplicity with Texture
Adding personality to your wedding does not have to be done with bright colors or themes, instead you can opt for simplicity but elevated with interesting textures. Radiant Swirls is simple but all about the texture from the gold foil stamping. You can add texture to even the finest of details in your wedding, such as the shoes, the frosting on the cake, or the delicate lace on the dress. Radiant Swirls is a design that fits seamlessly with all seasons from the brightness of new spring blooms to the delicate textures of winter snowflakes. By adding texture, your wedding is still visually inspiring without being overwhelming in color or design.
Open your Venue
An open venue with classic history is the perfect backdrop to an elegant wedding. Venues such as the Ritz Carlton in San Francisco are able to blend classic architecture with modern design. A canopied ceiling and delicate crystal chandeliers open up a space yet keep an elegant touch on an otherwise simple venue. By having an open venue full of natural light and personal touches (such as your abundance of flowers and lace detailing), your special day will not only feel timeless, but will also be as radiant as your invitation design.
